Before Starting…

To create your digital booklet, you need to have a

Flash software. If you don’t have it, get a free 30 day trial version

STEP 1

- Open the .fla file

(then, you’ve just opened the source file for the booklet)

- Open the Library (Window / Library)

(only if it’s not displayed)

- Import your booklet images (File / Import to the Library)

- Move these images to the folder called «Page du livret à insérer»

(in the library, click-drag)

STEP 2

- Double-click on page 1 (Library / PageElement / page1)

(the 1st page’s going to open)

- Select the corresponding image

(Library / Page du livret à insérer / your image)

- Click-Drag it onto the main scene

(your image should appear on the main scene)

- Resize and place your image in ‘Properties’

(Window / Properties / Properties)

L = 369 H = 375 X = 0 Y = 0

- Go back to Scene 1

- Select Frame 4 from the «exported» layer

- Select your page1 (Library / PageElement / page1)

- Click-drag the page1 onto the scene from the Library

(your page should be displayed on the main scene)

- Place your page thanks to ‘Properties’

(Do not resize it)

X = 0 Y = 0

Repeat STEP 2 FOR ALL YOUR PAGES in

chronological order(page1 - page2 - page3-…)

STEP 3

- Select the «ACTION» layer then the second little «a» (frame 5)

- Right-click on the little «a» / Actions

(then, you’ve just opened the action script. BEWARE, so that the booklet works, don’t make any

personal modification except the ones we tell you to !)

- Delete the- «//» in front of the pages you want.

Example : if you have a 18 page booklet, delete the «//» for pages 1 to 18.

BEWARE, don’t delete the «//» on line 40 and keep lines 28 to 80 as they are

STEP 4

- Save your document (File / Save As)

- Publish your booklet (File / Publish)

- To preview the booklet (File / Preview before publishing / Default)

IMPORTANT

- All your images must have the same size

- All your images must have a distinct name (1 for the page1 image ;

2 for the page2 image / …)

- All your images must be placed at X=0 and Y=0

- Do not modify the action script (except the modifications we told you to make beforeon)

- Save your file as a different name from the original one.
