With Yozik, you can now create and set up your artist profile on Ping, the new social network launched by Apple for music.

If your album or single is distributed on iTunes via Yozik, you will find a link “Create your Artist profiles on Ping” in the frame “Actions”, page “Distribution”, tab “Items” in your Yozik admin..

Click on the link and fill in the fields required for the creation of an Artist profile on Ping.

Once your submission is validated by Yozik, we will send these pieces of information to Apple. They will deal with your request, then send you an email containing a URL peculiar to the artist. This link will launch iTunes in your web browser and will open the page “Ping Artist Profile Set Up”.

To set up your Artist profile on Ping, you must first login with your iTunes’ user information (Tip: create a new iTunes account just for your artist account on Ping. If not, all the purchases made from your personnal account will appear on your Ping artist page).

Once you are in your Ping artist profile, you’ll be able to write information about your band and publish text, pictures, videos, etc. Beware! A delay may occur between the time you publish medias, and the time they appear on iTunes (indeed, Apple verifies all published content – no pornography, nudity or drug apology – ).
